Ripples is an easy pattern suitable for beginners and as an introduction to working in the round. Twist & Shout is a great introduction to knitting cables.
Both cowls require three balls of yarn and are knit in the round on a 4.5mm circular needle (max 60cm). A stitch marker is required to mark the beginning of each round and the Twist & Shout Cowl requires a cable needle.
